Morgan Stanley is one of the investment banks entering China at the very early stage, through 20 years of hard work, now it has achieved the diversified panel of business platform, including securities, commercial bank, asset management and trust fund platform. In 1995, Morgan Stanley and China Construction Bank had joint to found the first international bank in china, the China International Capital Corporation Limited; in October 2006, it had purchased 100% shares of Nan Tung Bank (Ltd), to form the Morgan Stanley Bank International (China) Limited; in June 2008 it founded the Morgan Stanley Huaxin Fund Management Company Limited; in November 2008 it put some asset into Hangzhou Industrial & Commercial Trust Co. ltd. In 2007 and 2009, China Investment Corporation had invested in Morgan Stanley, becoming a shareholder with 9.9% shares. In May 2011, Morgan Stanley RMB Fund had set up in Hangzhou. In June 2011 Morgan Stanley Huaxin Securities has founded in Shanghai, which means the company’s business has expanded to A stock market’s stocks and the selling of securities, Morgan Stanley has firmed its financial business. Morgan Stanley has high QFII investment amount (850 million USD) Its offshore financial service is also highly developed, including investment bank, sales transaction, wealth management, investment management etc., providing complete financial products and services for clients. Its global and local PE fund and real estate fund are also active in Chinese market.
