1. What are the restrictions on my employment after I immigrate to the United Kingdom as an investor?
Answer: Yes. Except self-employ and special employment, you can work as you want in the United Kingdom.

2. Apart from me, who else can be included with my immigration applicant?
Answer: The following family members are included in your application:
-Spouse of the applicant
-Same sex partner of the applicant (Same sex partner means same sex relationship registered in the United Kingdom or in the applicant’s original country)
-Any children of the applicant: To qualified as the children of the applicant, the child must by less than 18-year-old and dependent on the applicant, single and not evolve in partnership and not an independent family; dependant on the applicant including food and board, no need to get any social welfare.

3. Can I invest any overseas company?
Answer: No, you can not invest in any overseas company or by investing overseas company to fulfill your investment requirement.

4. To attain a British permanent residence, shall I take Britain as my only homeland?
Answer: No, you don’t need to take Britain as your only homeland, but you should live longer than you are away.

5. Shall all the dependants fulfill the requirement of residence?
Answer: For those ILR applicants, the British government will justify if the principle applicant has met the requirement of residence. However if you are applying for British nationality, the residence requirement is apply for each dependent of the applicant.

6. After I attain ILR and live in another country, will I loose my British identity?
Answer: Yes, after you attain ILR identity, if you did not live in the Britain for a concessive two year period, you will not loose your residence right in the Britain. However, If your residence right will forfeit if you are not returning to the Britain to continue live there. For anyone who has ILR, he then leave and resident in another country, it is clear that his re entering to Britain is for the purpose of visiting instead of residence; he will not fulfill the standard of “return residence”.

7. When can I join the British nationality?
If you meet the following requirements, you can apply for British nationality one year after you attain IRL:
1) You are already in the Britain at the beginning of the five year after your application;
2) Your live in the Britain longer than six months every year during the five year period;
3) Your residence term in any countries other than Britain is less than 90 days in the last 12 months of the five year period;
4) Your residence time in the Britain for the last 12 months during the five year period  is not restricted by any immigration law; and
5) You are not violating any immigration law during that five year.

8. Are there any requirements other than residence to get a British nationality?
Answer: Yes. You have to evident your acknowledgement of British language and life. By taking “Life in Britain” test (if you have achieve the regulated English level), or take part in ESOL course which including the specific content of naturalization.

9. What are the advantages of immigrating to Britain?
Answer: Your children will enjoy same education as British children, while there are some restrictions for entering University. Both you and your applicants are qualified to apply for the free medical treatment offered by the national hygiene service institution.

10. Do I need to pay for any tax if I immigrate to Britain?
Answer: Yes. According to British law, if your residence period in Britain is more than 183 days during the tax year, you are regarded as tax payer. Even if your residence period is less than 183 days, you are visiting Britain regularly in four year and your average residence period of each tax year equals to or more than 91 days, you still can be regarded as tax payer in that year. Your arrival and departure day is not calculated into your residence term in Britain. However, according the present “residence destination” rule, the global income of a British residence do not need to pay for the tax if they are not taking that part of income into Britain.
