Answer: Other requirements except buying property are: the applicant is not a citizen of European countries, he or she must be older than 18-year-old and without any criminal record, purchase the medical insurance for the whole family, no need to have savings in any local banks as long as you can ensure a stable overseas income to pay for the expenses of yourself and your dependants in Greece. Answer: It takes about three months and the inspection time for the process might be shortened in the future.

Ask: What is a permanent residence permit?
Answer: It is a renewable permanent residence visa.

Ask: Is Greece a European country or Schegen country?
Answer: Yes, after the applicant get a permanent residence permit, he or she can travel around Schegen country without applying visa.
(According to a previous report, “Any property owner with the permanent residence permit can live in other schegen country for up to three months every six months.” This is not real and does not apply on this permit only. Because there is not any border or custom check between European countries, traveling in European countries is like traveling between different provinces in China. Nobody will find out where do you live and for how long did you live in that country.)
