Answer: Four years with two times of extension, twice a year and a total eight years.

4. Is there any quota limit for the new important investor visa?
Answer: No. However there is a quota limit or risk on changing, suspension or withdrawal of new visa plan clauses.

5. If I was nominated by a specific Australian state or region, can I migrate to other state or region?
Answer: If you were nominated as the important investor visa applicant by a state or region, the immigration and citizenship department and nominator are expecting you to resident in that state or region.

6. How long does it take for Australian government to process the applicant?
Answer: Australian government claimed that if the application forms are completed and all the preparation are full made, it can be settle in 30 to 60 days.

7. When will the application be accepted?
Answer: It will be handled by Australian Consulate General Hong Kong office.

8. Shall I go to Australia for interview?
Answer: No

9. Is there any age requirement or score testing for important investor?
Answer: There is no age top requirement or score test for important investor visa.
