Australian visa is granted to visit New Zealand in limited time

New Zealand Immigration Minister Michael Woodhouse said on 3rd that foreign visitor with Australian visa can visit New Zealand during the 2015 Cricket World Cup, which is co hosting by Australia and New Zealand.

Cricket World Cup is held between Feb.14^th and Mar. 29^th next year by Australia and New Zealand, travelers from any countries other than Australia or New Zealand, as long as he or she is holding a valid Australian visa can visit New Zealand as well from Jan. 26^th to Apr.5^th .

Woodhouse announced: “During that period any travelers with a valid Australian visa will be granted a visitor’s visa which is valid for three months. It will be more convenient for the cricket fans to follow the activities of the team they support in two countries; at the same time it will attract those travelers who do not have a plan to visit New Zealand.”

Woodhouse said : “ This is a new arrangement to promote the tourism industry between two countries.”

As we acknowledged although the travelers with Australian visa does not need to apply for a visitor’s visa of New Zealand during the Cricket World Cup period, they have to meet other requirements such as health or security to avoid being refused to enter into New Zealand.
